DomeHFT documentation
Everything to install DomeHFT, activate your license, connect your brokers and go live — safely and fast.
Overview
DomeHFT is a native Windows high-frequency arbitrage terminal. It surfaces cross-venue edges, routes orders in microseconds through a hardened order manager, and enforces risk before anything reaches the market — all on your own machine, with your keys and data local.
Your DomeHFT account is managed from your DomeTerminal account (shared across both products). You log in to the app with that account; your device is bound on first login.
Requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) |
| Account | Active DomeHFT plan (Solo / Pro / Desk) |
| Network | Stable internet; low latency to your venues recommended |
| Brokers/feeds | Credentials for the venues you connect (FIX, cTrader, LMAX, MT5, etc.) |
Install & activate
- Buy a plan from the pricing page. Your license is provisioned automatically after payment.
- Download the signed installer from your account (Downloads section). Verify the SHA-256 checksum shown next to it.
- Run the installer. It's code-signed, so Windows shows a verified publisher.
- Launch DomeHFT and log in with your DomeTerminal account (email + password).
- On first login, your device is bound to your license automatically. You're ready to connect.
Connect brokers & feeds
Open Connections and add each venue with its native connector. DomeHFT keeps market-data feeds and trade routes as separate, typed connections.
| Connector | Type | You provide |
|---|---|---|
| FIX 4.4 | Feed + trade | host, port, SenderCompID, TargetCompID, credentials |
| cTrader | Trade (FIX) | SenderCompID, username, password |
| LMAX | Feed + trade (FIX) | FIX session credentials |
| MT5 bridge | Trade | an attached MT5 terminal + the DomeHFT EA |
| CME MDP3 | L2 feed | market-data access |
Run strategies
DomeHFT ships strategy families for cross-venue work — triangular, statistical, basket and cross-broker arbitrage — plus portfolio orchestration. Open a strategy tab, pick the venues and symbols, set the parameters, and arm it.
- Backtest first. Replay signals and sweep parameters on historical microstructure before going live.
- Watch the desk. The arbitrage desk shows spreads, routing latency and fills in real time.
Risk & execution
Every order passes the pre-trade risk engine — configurable gates on exposure, notionals and velocity — before it leaves. A kill-switch halts new orders instantly. Fills are reconciled against the broker by a single order-management state machine, so there's one source of truth for every live path.
Devices & licensing
Your plan sets how many devices you can activate at once:
| Plan | Devices |
|---|---|
| Solo | 1 |
| Pro | 2 |
| Desk | 3 |
Each activation binds to that machine's hardware fingerprint. Switching computers? Open Devices in your account and reset a device to free a slot. Your license key is visible in your account for reference and support.
Security
- Device-locked activation — won't run on a machine you didn't license.
- Signed & integrity-verified — startup check blocks a tampered install.
- Encrypted at rest — credentials and tokens protected with Windows DPAPI, never plain text.
- Local by design — broker keys and data stay on your machine.
Updates
DomeHFT checks for new versions and notifies you when an update is available. Download the latest signed build from your account; your license and settings carry over.
FAQ
Do I need to type a serial?
No — you log in with your account and the device binds automatically. Your license key is shown in your account for records.
Can I move to a new PC?
Yes. Reset the old device from Devices in your account, then log in on the new machine.
Will it run on another PC if I copy the installer?
It installs, but it won't activate beyond your plan's device limit — activation is bound to your licensed machines.
Are my keys private?
Yes. DomeHFT runs locally; keys and data never leave your PC.
